Terms of Service
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This is a template for launch and is not legal advice. Review and adapt with counsel before relying on it.
Acceptance
By using hostdocs you agree to these terms. If you’re using the service for an organization, you agree on its behalf.
The service
hostdocs lets you publish single-page HTML — including JavaScript — to a subdomain we provide. Pages are served as you upload them; we do not modify your code.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use hostdocs to host or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, infringing, or violates others’ rights;
- contains malware, phishing, or deceptive content;
- attempts to attack, overload, or circumvent the isolation of the platform;
- harvests data or impersonates others.
We may disable or remove pages and suspend accounts that violate this policy, and we may respond to lawful takedown requests.
Your content
You retain ownership of what you publish. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and serve it. You’re responsible for the content you publish and for having the rights to it.
Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Team plans bill per active member. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the current period.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, hostdocs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
